Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026

This policy explains how Gingernomics (www.gingernomics.com), operated by Cameron Hayes in Denmark, collects and uses personal data. Contact: gingernomics@outlook.com.

What we collect

  • Email address and name when you join the newsletter, create an account or contact us.

  • Order details when you buy a product or subscription: name, email, billing country and order history. Card payments are processed by our payment providers; we never see or store full card numbers.

  • Booking details when you book a coaching session.

  • Usage data such as pages visited, device and approximate location, collected through cookies where you have consented.

Why we use it, and the legal basis

  • To deliver products, subscriptions and bookings you request (contract).

  • To send the newsletter and course emails you signed up for (consent; you can unsubscribe at any time).

  • To keep the site secure and understand which content helps readers (legitimate interests, or consent for non-essential cookies).

  • To meet accounting and tax obligations (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf: Wix.com (website hosting, forms, store, bookings and member accounts), our payment providers, and our email service. We do not sell personal data. Some providers are outside the EU/EEA; where they are, transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

Affiliate links

Some book links go to Amazon. If you click them, Amazon may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase to us. Amazon's privacy notice applies on its site.

How long we keep it

Newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Order and accounting records for the period required by Danish bookkeeping law (currently five years). Other data no longer than needed for the purpose above.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. You may also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), www.datatilsynet.dk.

This policy is provided for transparency and should be reviewed by a qualified adviser.
